Representative Moron Hit By Illegal Alien

Illegal Alien Supporter Massachussetts State Representative Democrat Mike Moran hit by an illegal alien.

An illegal alien, wearing a mariachi outfit, no less, hit his vehicle doing 60mph. The alien's passenger was bloodied and sent to the hospital. From the story:

The 27-year-old suspect was reportedly driving under the influence of alcohol and did not have a valid license.

Police say when Naranjo was told of the serious charges he would be facing, he just laughed.

State police were unable to notify immigration authorities that Naranjo might be illegal. due to a 2007 order that strips them of immigration enforcement powers.

The suspect, whose blood alcohol content was .25 at the time of the accident according to the police report, is being held on $50,000 cash bail.

Democrat Moran, from the news story, states:

"I know this is a tough issue that we're dealing with and as you probably know I have been and will continue to be pro immigrant and some cases even pro illegal immigrant. And it would be politically expedient for me at this point in time to change that. That should give you some indication of my commitment to immigration and immigrants to tell you that even after being hit by one I will continue to advocate for immigrants and their rights as citizens of this country."

I support the rights of people who aren't citizens as citizens. I support criminals enjoying the same rights as the law abiding. A community of moron supporters got me elected.

He's pro ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT. He states it. He supports ILLEGAL ALIENS having the rights of CITIZENS. He also talks about how he thinks that the law will deal with the illegal alien - who's already a criminal - as a criminal for the DUI. Why? Why enforce one law and not the other? Why let the drunk driver in? Oh, that's right. He's one of these:

In the TV edited version, he's surrounded by Morons.

They say a conservative is a liberal who's been mugged. Apparently, some liberals are so ideologically suicidal, that they will continue to support the very people who ignore their laws and try to kill them rather than get the picture.

Reading Reading!

Arizona SB 1070 (version S - I believe that's the final final version)

It's not very long and doesn't take much time to read. You don't even need to use a speed reader to insult the country with when you read it. AZ's SB 1070 is only about 12 pages, depending on your spacing & font size.

Slightly older version H. Functionally the same thing.

Long Live Miss Oklahoma

I've wondered what it must be like to be a Pageant Queen. All the glitzy 30 pound dresses, ammonia hair dye, spray-on tans that turn ALL your mucous membranes orange, chemical highs from Aqua Net and eyelash glue...it truly sounds like a dream. Not to mention that part where I'd have to pull an intelligent and well formed answer from my pretty little head that is culturally and socially "conscious" and includes the phrases "world peace", "global village", and "starving children in Africa." I'm exhausted just thinking about it, and I didn't even have to do all that in 6 inch platform stripper heels! Personal dreams aside, whether they like or believe it or not, these pageant queens and all their war paint, actually do become role models and symbols. We live in a society that is obsessed with beauty and perfect proportion and those girls represent the utmost in both those categories. Our eyes are glued to these beautiful, graceful, and seemingly smart and ambitious young ladies. Just for the record, any women entering it as a "scholarship contest" is lying; the money they spend on preparing for the event far outweighs what a decent college would charge for a degree. Speaking of financing the competition, our newest Miss America had an interesting way of raising money for her dresses, swimsuits, full body waxes (she is Lebanese after all), etc...The poor girl had to sell her car, strip for money, and ask for money from a Hezbollah supporting terrorist, Imad Hamad. But, I suppose considering she is a Shia Muslim and has terrorist family members back in Lebanon that shouldn't surprise us. Given all these dangerous seeming ties, and not to mention she tripped on stage and called birth control a "controlled substance", why on earth did this girl win? She's gorgeous, but she didn't show very much grace and her answer was neither intelligent nor particularly engaging. One particular woman did all these things, though- the runner-up Miss Oklahoma. She was graceful, and her answer was poignant and reflected enough intelligence to actually form her own thoughts. What was the real difference between these two ladies (besides the fact one is an actual American citizen and the other an immigrant)? One can surmise that the difference is strictly cultural and political. One girl is a picture of WASPy perfection and precisely the sort of person demonized these days in favor of cultural diversity and affirmative action. The other is a trendy and exotic minority that happens to be on the winning end of the ACLU and a popular group to receive pity from the liberal set. Funny, I was sure this sort of thing was called discrimination, but I'm white, what do I know? I do know that it is come time for society at large, the government, and the media to stop dismissing conservatives as yokels with nothing in their brains except Nazi symbols and confederate flags like the pageant judges dismissed Miss Oklahoma for her Arizona answer. The answers to our problems lie in reason, compromise, and moderation. Reason to solve problems stoically; compromise to consider all valid points of view and the ability to give up a want for a need; moderation to keep the government and those others who wish to control in check. There need not be spades of emotion involved in governing processes. Men have been telling women this for thousands of years; stop crying and solve the problem! Stop crying long enough to see a clear, logical solution. Miss Oklahoma gave a clear rational answer to a judge who was emotionally involved in question; he couldn't have rationally judged her answer for a second. More and more, our media and culture is headed that direction. Newspapers and TV programs appeal to our emotions: starving children, elderly without medical insurance, poor immigrants that are treated like dogs in their own countries. Any group that attempts to provide a clear and stoic answer to these problems is labeled as callous, stupid, or ignorant, and worse, compared to the Communist or Fascist regimes the liberal media and our current government much more closely resemble. We are not extremists; we are the Miss Oklahomas of the world-men and women who simply and clearly voice our opinions only to be out voiced by a sob story with ominous ties and darker skin. I won't go so far as to call her a decoy for Islamic extremism, although I personally won't discount it. She's a young woman with seemingly loose morals (see: stripping for money; you can google the pictures) who happened to be a convenient spokeswoman for the culturally biased, discriminatory, overly emotional and sensitive culture in which we live.

Long Live Miss Oklahoma.

Free Speech on Draw Mo Day - 5/20

There's an issue that a lot of folks aren't willing to tackle. Many folks are willing to bury their heads in sand. A lot of folks want to address it.

It started over on Facebook, apparently, with the idea of a "Draw Mohammed Day" to stand up for free speech. Since I'm a dinosaur and not adept at Facespace or Mybook, I've mostly been kept abreast of it by The Jawa Report. (I highly recommend visiting the site - they have much more info and several links.)

Apparently, though, there's been some typical muslim intolerance of free speech.

Call them the religion of peace. Or they'll kill you.
(Also big thanks to Jawa Report.)

So insulting Mohammed = Death? Again?

Y'know what, islamic community? You don't want to be portrayed like your prophet, who spread his religion by the sword, forced conversions, and murder?

Y'know, like Mohammed, pictured here in my artist's rendering:
Free speech & the 1st Amendment. Got a problem with it? Tough.
Want to change my mind? That's up to your behavior.

(For those of you paying attention, Mohammed was portrayed as a kind superhero on South Park. The above image is my creation, using a South Park character generator.)

Then stop threatening people with death for joking about your religion, or your founder (who raped a 9-year old girl). Jews can take a joke about Moses, Christians can sure take a joke about Jesus, Buddhists can take a joke about buddha, animists can take a joke about anything. Hell, even snotty atheists can take a joke... about nothing.

While you're at it, stop murdering gay people for being gay, and stop punishing rape victims for being victims of rape.

Now, in the unlikely event that actual moderate muslims like Irshad Manji, Wafa Sultan, Ozma, Marwan or his sisters, or Tony (our 'terp) ever read the site, no true disrespect is intended towards you, and I'm sure you can stomach the insult to the prophet you believe in in order to have the barbarians in your midst shown for who they are by their foaming-at-the-mouth response, and for those who do have some capacity for tolerance to be able to develop it. You may scowl in distaste, but no harm is done, and a positive reaction from you enhances your image and character, and ultimately simple mockery of Mohammed without any depth to the discussion will go away. We'll all be able to recognize you as civilized people capable of reasoned discourse - again, it's testament to your character as individuals.

Those who would be offended are free to make pictures of whatever religious or secular figure they like. Enjoy. Be advised, we've already had our tax dollars pay for a crucifix in urine and a Virgin Mary made of elephant shit, so you'll probably be unable to offend us any moreso than our own domestic iconoclasts. BTW, they're cowards who wouldn't dare put Mohammed in the same "art".

Those who would make death threats or worse yet, commit acts of violence based on PICTURES or WORDS are dangerous psychotics. A scathing criticism of Theo van Gogh or Trey Parker & Matt Stone would be a lot more effective critique than proving their mockery entirely justified. Note that every act of violence solidifies islam as a religion that is by its very nature violent, no matter how much anyone says "religion of peace." 15312 terrorist acts in the name of islam since 9/11/2001 (as of this writing) already has made it pretty solid.

Multiculturalism! Diversity! Tolerance!

Oh, and for those cowards who won't stand for free speech, like Comedy Central, and the numerous newspapers who refused to reprint the Mohammed cartoons out of fear - either stand up for your rights or get used to kneeling. Every acquiescence you make to terrorists validates terrorism as a tool to force your compliance. You have no standing as a critic of any religion or anything if you bow to islam's threats. You fucking cowards.

Also, to those muslims without tolerance and who wish to make threats and terrorist attacks, perhaps you need to be reminded of what backs up the 1st Amendment in the United States.

2nd Amendment. Protecting its loudmouth little brother the 1st Amendment since 1791.

Words from another "Barry"

"Extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice." - Barry Goldwater

Simply put and to the point, that sentence alone should galvanize the Tea Parties and all freedom and liberty loving patriots around our country. We should not be afraid of the mainstream media and it's government overseers charges of "extremism." America was founded on the principles of individual freedom and liberty. From the recent "Patriot Act" to the government takeover of healthcare, and ensuing increase in taxes, our freedoms and liberties are under attack like never before.

People all over the country for are discussing government and its role in American society. Tea Parties and other patriot groups such as Oath Keepers call for strict adherence of the United States Constitution while the federal government in Washington D.C. gets ready to run it again through a paper shredder after passing healthcare and now turning its attention to giving millions of ILLEGAL immigrants amnesty, to ensure statist hegemony in the federal government for the forseeable future.

So get behind Arizona and its state government, goto a Tea Party meeting, talk to your neighbors about what is happening across the nation. Discuss Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. Discuss our founding fathers principles of individual responsibility, belief in God, economic freedom, minimal taxes, and most important minimal government.

Do not fear the labels, after all they are just words. Armed with the truth and principles, we can stay above the petty name calling that the statist agenda in Washington D.C. uses to take good people and good organizatiosn out fo the fight to defend individual freedom and liberty.

Don't be afraid, and don't be afraid to scream at the top of your lungs the words,

DON'T Tread on ME!

Arizona's Line In The Sand

Told ya!

But rather than get bowled over by amnesty, Arizona stood up. Arizona Senate Bill 1070 (which can be read in its entirety at this link). The hardcore leftists and racial supremacists like The Race (La Raza - link is older background on them) are up in arms because it upsets their power.

What the law does, in brief, is that when Arizona police or public servants come into contact with persons reasonably suspected to be illegally present in the US, they have to ascertain citizenship. The requirements for this by Arizona law are substantially lower than that required by federal law. For instance, Arizona accepts an Arizona driver's license as proof of citizenship. Some rather well-known illegal aliens (visa overstays) had US driver's licenses.
He's just looking for a better life and murdering the thousands of people that American citizens are too lazy to murder.

For those who want to sleep better at night, a driver's license alone is not sufficient to prove citizenship to federal agents who are doing their job and enforcing the law. But for Arizona, they accept it (I'm not sure if AZ requires proof of citizenship or lawful permanent resident status to get one).

Point being, the bar is set very low for the suspect to prove their citizenship. For a US citizen, it makes no more hassle than producing one's ID - which any cop can ask for any time a citizen (or otherwise) is detained in the US. Detention, in the legal sense, is when an agent of government interferes with an individual's freedom of movement. They're not taken into custody, they're just stopped - i.e., a traffic stop - for investigative purposes. The cop is just fact-finding to determine "did this guy break the law/do I have probable cause for an arrest?" If the answer is no, the person goes free.

To the AZ law, this means when a cop stops someone and asks them questions concerning a crime - be it a traffic stop, witnessing an accident, etc., the cop can ask them their citizenship. More importantly, when a cop is actually arresting someone for a crime, they have to determine their citizenship. If they're present in the US without proper documents, they're handed over to the Border Patrol or Immigrations & Customs Enforcement, who will set them up for deportation proceedings.

The AZ law for police provides an avenue to deal with illegal alien criminals. And AZ police and citizens have no love lost for the illegals.

Murder, crime and garbage. Yay for undocumented workers!

The AZ law also requires state and local agencies to comply with immigration laws. What this means is that when an illegal alien comes into an unemployment office and eagerly sucks up US citizens' taxes, the illegal isn't handed a check from your wallet (even if you don't live in AZ, federal money going to schools and unemployment benefits and everything else are going there - plus the added costs of goods and services to pay those taxes).

Instead, the illegal is reported and deported.

For those mythical illegals who aren't breaking any laws and aren't costing any taxpayer money, they aren't the targets of the law. The AZ law only has an effect on those who are breaking the law or utilizing services they aren't paying for, and as illegal aliens don't rate.

The leftists and The Racists Reconquistadors suggest that the law is one that encourages racial profiling. It emphatically does not. But as Levar Burton used to say on Reading Rainbow - "Don't take my word for it..."
Here's the link to the bill again:
http://www.azleg.gov/legtext/49leg/2r/bills/sb1070h.pdf

The leftists/The Racists are pushing their own agenda. Being leftists, they believe in forcing people into racial groups who will then vote as a block or be rejected for not being "X race" enough. They refuse to accept a difference between legal immigrants and illegal immigrants, because illegal immigrants in the American Southwest are overrepresentative of their ethnic group.

Never mind that the legal citizens of the same ethnic group support the bill and don't like illegals either. And that's not even getting into recent immigrants who went through the right way. They value their citizenship.

That's basically the crux of leftist hatred for Arizona's law. It puts value back on US citizenship, as something to earn. For the leftist, America is a land of ill-gotten gains, stolen from whatever aggrieved party they identify with most. America is the great polluter and the great oppressor and everything that is wrong with the world. For the leftist, the greatest good is to throw away America's bounty to those they deem "oppressed". It makes them feel good and assuages their guilt for being well-off.

Note they'll never give up their own status or wealth, just someone who's not so enlightened - that being you.

And of course, if you disagree with the left, then you're a nazi.

Let's call this Goldberg's Law: as the leftist begins to lose an argument, the probability of a conservative/libertarian/non-leftist
being called a nazi or Hitler approaches 1.

Fiction or Reality

Atlas ShruggedImage via Wikipedia

The following quote is from the book, "Atlas Shrugged," see if this doesn't put some things in perspective when considering the actions of our federal government.

"Do you really think we want laws observed?" said Dr. Ferris. "We want them to be broken. You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts your up against.... We're after power and we mean it.... There's no wat to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many thing to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law abiding citizens? What's there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted - and you create a nation of law breakers - and then you cash in on guilt. Now that's the system, Mr. Reardon, that's the game, and once you understand it, you'll be much easier to deal with."

In this quote, Dr. Ferris, a government bureacrat, is explaining to Hank Reardon, an industrialist the intentions of those in power in Washington D.C. For those of you who haven't had a chance to read the book, the world is filled with "People's States," that are socialist in nature. The United States is on the brink of becoming one of these types of nations as well. The government destroys business at every level, while people themselves are entranced by being "progressive" and "socially responsible." Wealth in this world is redistributed by the government and businesses alike and a total breakdown in society ensues.

This quote is important because it reveals that those in power in the book, and those in the halls of power in Washington D.C. aren't really "progessive" nor "socially responsible." It's about pure control and power of those they claim to represent. They want the power and they mean to have it. Look at what is happening, healthcare decisions are going to be taken away from you and your doctor, the government is moving to regulate how much salt your allowed to eat, they continually raise taxes on both alcohol and cigarette's taken advantage of people's desires to use those things.

Mr. Reardon in the quote above is basically being told, that he better comply or they will come for him. Eventually they do with excessive regulations against the steel industry in general and while the steel industry crumbles they blame Reardon himself for their legislation and its failures.

Being regulated and dictated to means loss of freedom. How much more can the citizens of this country take?

(The bold emphasis in the quote is mine.)

Boots

"...always there will be the intoxication of power, constantly increasing and constantly growing subtler. Always, at every moment, there will be the thrill of victory, the sensation of trampling on an enemy who is helpless. If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face — forever."
- George Orwell, 1984

"Our job is basically to keep the boot on the neck of British Petroleum."
- Interior Secretary Ken Salazar

I'm getting kinda sick of posting this guy.
